Are you a foreign spouse, or a prospective foreign spouse?

Are you curious about the problems you might encounter if you lived in another country, married to a local citizen?

Are you interested in foreign governments' treatment of your fellow countrymen? acculturology? sociology? cross-cultural interaction?

If so, we welcome you to join us in investigating the often hidden side of life in other cultures.

The National Network of Foreign Spouses is a self-help organization and support group which is involved with women's rights, men's rights, and family rights. We believe that basic human rights should guarantee:

  1. the right of family members to live together
  2. the right of adult members of the family to work.

In many countries, the granting of such rights to foreign spouses is by no means automatic.

We hope this Website's resources can help you with any questions or problems you might have. We also hope that by providing a way for Foreign Spouses to unite, we can improve our combined stability and standing here in Taiwan.

Please feel free to send us comments, suggestions, and additions. And be sure to tell your friends about us.
